Havslätt is a complete vacation-facility in the small format. With natural surroundings, it is right by the sea and just a few kilometers from the city centre of Oskarshamn.

We present a large number of camping lots, both with and without electricity. There are also a number of cabins, as an alternative.

You are also welcome to our café, right by the sea with a wonderful view over the beach with the island Blå Jungfrun in the background.

Camping

The camping facility has everything you need for a successful vacation.

• Just over 100 camping lots (75 with electricity)
• Tent lots
• A service-building with toilets and showers.
• Handicap-adapted toilets, one with a shower.
• Laundry room
• Kitchen and dining area with stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and TV.
• Guaranteed nearness to the sea and a child-friendly beach.

Cabins

For you who are traveling without a caravan or a tent, we have a number of cabins for disposal.

• 5 cabins with 4 beds in each. Kitchenette with a refrigerator, hotplates, kitchen equipment and china.

 For your disposal we also have the service building with:

• Showers and toilets
• Handicap- adapted toilets, one with a shower.
• Laundry room and access to a sauna.

Café
At the café, which opens 12^th of June, we serve you delicious baguettes, simple meals, pastry, cookies and of course lots of ice-cream.

Enjoy a coffee break on our balcony or down by the bridge. You can also sit in the glass veranda and look out over the sea, with the island Blå Jungfrun in the horizon.

There is always something happening on Havslätt. We invite you to our mid-summer celebrations, song-nights, barbeque nights and activities for the kids.

About us

Enjoy the flowing sunshine in peace and quiet.
Nowadays we have most things in abundance, everything, except time for ourselves and our loved ones. Even our vacations, that are supposed to be a time of rest, can be just as stressful as our working days.
Havslätts Café and Camping is a relaxing alternative where your soul, as well as your body, also can find some peace.
It is a green oasis a few kilometers north of Oskarshamn. Standing on the beach and gazing out over the sea, you'll see the beautiful island Blå Jungfrun and, beyond it, Öland. This is a place where you can enjoy the warm winds of the Swedish sun-coast as well as relaxation, in the small format, family friendly and calm.

More than just beautiful
Havslätt offers you a further dimension. We want to have a sense of harmony, consideration and sensitivity toward our guests' requirements. The facility is, since the end of the 1980s, run by the Mission Church in Oskarshamn. Every summer we set up different arrangements and events for the children, youth and our guests. We have Summer-fun for the kids, beach-volleyball, boules, music-café, barbeque-nights and a whole lot more.
Yet most importantly, we offer you rest and relaxation on an enjoyable family-camping facility, a great range of things at our cozy café and delightful swims in the sea.

The meaning with life
All of us working at Havslätt are united in our Christian faith. A lot of our frequent guests do not share our faith, but they appreciate the atmosphere that it spreads.
At the same time we are aware that more and more people are searching for the meaning with their lives. Why do I exist? We believe that the answer to that is found in the gospel of John, chapter 3:16:

'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.'

It simply means that every human being is important. Every person is worthy of love and everyone can make a contribution for their neighbor. Our aim is to reflect this in our work at Havslätt, and in the treatment we show you as our guest.

If you have questions or thoughts around the meaning with your life we are happy to get you in contact with someone who gladly takes time for a dialogue. We also welcome you to come to our gatherings and Church services.

Our youth
The foundation of Havslätts Café & Camping is the ministry we have among children and youth. Every summer we give teenagers the opportunity to be part of, and responsible for, the children activities that include singing, music, theater and games. In that way the youth gets training in leadership as well as a summer holiday with many exciting challenges.

The center of events

From Havslätt you can easily go on daily outings to, among other things, Astrid Lindgrens World in Vimmerby, the Musicfestival in Västervik, the Glass-kingdom, to Kalmar and to Öland. Ferries, that will take you to the island Blå Jungfrun, leave from Oskarshamn several days a week. Otherwise you can stroll about in Oskarshamn, visit the Döderhultar-museum or take a divagation with the ferry to Gotland.
